I know a dude could float a couple dozen decoys IN our blind today ! 
The river ain't gonna make it easy for us to be ready for the opener.

My blind is always ready. I just gotta pull it out of the shop when its time to hunt. I can't afford one of them fancy places where you build a blind, I've got a kid in college and one almost there. I can only afford to have a blind on a boat and hunt flooded playas. Maybe one day I can get me one of those places to build a blind and flood.

I still have two blinds to build in the flooded Mississippi river. I am strongly thinking about a Beavertail for my SeaArk.
This water from up north has been killing me for the last few years, Im tired of building blinds just for them to end up going through the dam.

Our blind has been brushed for 3 weeks now. Only needs some final touches with the oak and sycamore. Love brushing with the oak. It's like brushing with barbed-wire...
All we need now is a few little cold fronts like the one we just had yesterday to move a few ducks. Hope to avoid the mass migration all at once like last year...
